Updates from Admissions

May 1 deadline

Admitted first-year students should let us know they plan to attend Western by confirming their admission in their Gold Gateway account, preferably before May 1, National Decision Day. Once a student confirms their admission and submits their $100 enrollment deposit (or has an approved waiver), they will be able to register for orientation.

First-year students offered fall admission for Aviation Flight Science or direct admission to the Bronson School of Nursing must confirm their admission no later than May 1. Transfer students have until May 15 to confirm their admission for a fall start in the Aviation Flight Science program. If you are working with incoming students, please encourage them to visit their Gold Gateway account at wmich.edu/goldgateway to view a personalized list of next steps.
