Study Abroad Info Session - Education and Human Development in India

Posted by Tayler Mercil for College of Education and Human Development

The Education and Human Development in India study abroad course/trip is available to all College of Education and Human Development students, as well as students from across the university. Dr. Louann Bierlein Palmer heads this program for CEHD.

This interdisciplinary experience intentionally blends graduate and undergraduate students from multiple disciplines to explore education, social justice, business, and sustainably from different lenses.

India is the world’s largest democracy and has the fastest growing economy. At the same time, India has many challenges. The trip includes educational, NGO, and industry site visits where you have the opportunity to learn from leaders in their fields. India’s culture is also explored with visits to local historical sites and exposure to Indian music, dance, and, of course, cuisine.
