Summer Sustainability Workshop for K-12 Educators
When: August 10-12, 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Where: Western Michigan University, Sangren Hall
Cost: Free (parking, lunch, and materials included)
Hosted by MiSTEM Region 1 (Southwest Michigan) with guest facilitators from the University of Washington's Institute for Science + Math Education (the team behind STEM Teaching Tools), this workshop explores what interdisciplinary, place-based sustainability learning looks like in K-12 STEM classrooms. Space is limited to 50 educators.
