WMU Sport & Event Management Career Fair
WMU Sport & Event Management Club invites you to the SW Michigan Career Fair. Meet future employers, learn about internships, and socialize.
The WMU Sport & Event Management Career Fair connects students and emerging professionals with organizations across sport, recreation, events, hospitality, and experiential marketing. Attendees gain direct access to industry employers, internships, and career pathways.
The event will also feature a behind-the-scenes tour of Wings Stadium with a focus on “game-day” preparation with an insight into what it takes to manage a sports facility and event arena.
Students are encouraged to bring multiple copies of their resume, dress in business casual attire, follow the Sport and Event Management Club and media announcing the expo booths. Attendees will want to prepare a short elevator pitch for conversations with vendors.

Who Should Attend:

· Recent graduates (0–5 years experience)
· Students seeking internships, seasonal roles, or entry-level positions
Cost To Attend:
High School Students Free and includes ticket to the game
College Students with ID $10.00 and includes ticket to the game
Alumni and Graduates $15.00 and includes ticket to the game
General Public $15.00 and includes ticket to the game

5:30 p.m. Panel Discussion on Career Trends*
7:00-9:00 p.m. K-Wings Game vs the Rapid City Rush
*The Career Fair Panel Discussion will feature area leaders who will share their Career Pathways in the fields of event management, hospitality, and sport management. With a focused question and answer period, attendees are encouraged to bring questions regarding pathways, challenges, evolving trends, and career advancement.
