Spring 2016 registration

Registration continues this week with juniors and sophomores registering. The priority schedule for the week is as follows:

Midterm grading

This is the final week for instructors to enter midterm grades for the fall semester. The Midterm Grade Worksheet will be available through Sunday October 25. As part of a recent upgrade to D2L, midterm grades can now be submitted through Elearning.

Re-authorization

Electronic re-authorizations closed at the end of the day on October 15. Supervisors have until the end of the day today to process approvals. While the majority of users complete the re-authorization online, there were over 300 that did not. For those users, the process has started to lock their account and an email will be sent containing instructions on how to manually process their security re-authorization. Re-authorizations not process by November 1 will be automatically deleted.

Fall 2016 academic schedule building

Fall 2016 working reports are now available in Cognos. Departments have until Friday, November 20 to make edits in Banner.

Curriculum deadline approaching

As a reminder, October 31 is the deadline to submit curriculum proposals to create, revise or delete courses and/or programs effective for the fall 2016 semester.

Fun facts

In the last two years, over 1,000 curriculum proposals were received.

• Wednesday, Oct. 28—Last day to receive 25% refund for a complete withdrawal
• Monday, Nov. 9—Last day to withdraw from classes
• Wednesday, Nov. 25—Thanksgiving recess begins at noon

• Dec. 14 - 18—Final exam week
• Saturday, Dec. 19—Semester ends; Commencement
