Spring 2020 is here! We hope you had a relaxing break. Registrar Notes are back and will be sent out every other week throughout the semester.
Today is the last day to drop/add classes
Students may drop and add via GoWMU today until 11:59 p.m. If students need to make adjustments after the deadline, departments can assist on Monday, Jan. 13, until 5 p.m. Courses can be added or dropped on that day without academic or financial penalty. After Jan. 13, dropping a class is considered a withdrawal and will show on transcripts with a grade of "W". Courses can be withdrawn in GoWMU from Jan. 14 to March 16. Note: Students are not able to "swap" sections of a course. Changing sections will require the student to withdraw from one section and go through the late add process in order to register for another section.
Reminder: Feb. 1 is the deadline for 2020 graduation applications
We are approaching the Feb. 1 deadline for students to apply for summer and fall 2020 graduations. As a reminder, there are two deadlines for graduation applications: Oct. 1 for April graduation and Feb. 1 for June, August and December graduations.
Spring 2020 census will take place Monday, Jan. 13. In preparation, please ensure the correct instructor of record has been entered in Banner for all sections, sections on hold have been canceled or made active, and all students attending have been registered so they will be counted (this includes students completing thesis and dissertation hours, independent studies, internships, seminars, etc.).
All students remaining on a spring 2020 waitlist will be removed today. Departments will be able to register students into waitlisted sections on census day as appropriate.
Summer and fall 2020 registration schedules now available
Did you know? A fun fact from the Registrar...
