Last day to withdraw has been extended to Dec. 11

To acknowledge the challenges many students are facing in their academic and personal lives due to COVID-19, the last day to withdraw from fall classes has been extended to Friday, Dec. 11. GoWMU will be available for students to withdraw until 11:59 p.m. on Dec. 11. Students with a registration hold who are unable to use GoWMU may request a withdrawal in person through the Registrar's Office until 5 p.m. on Dec. 11 or by emailing @email. The Registrar's Office will send a final reminder to all registered students via email next week.

New online credit equivalency system

WMU currently has thousands of established course equivalencies from many colleges and universities around the country. To find a complete listing of the course equivalencies already established from various institutions, students and staff can view our domestic Transfer Equivalency System. View links to credit equivalencies at wmich.edu/transfer/credit/transfer-equivalency. For international institutions, please use the existing equivalency database.

Final exam week is Dec. 14 through 17

As a reminder, regularly scheduled class meeting times are not held during the exam week.

Fall grades due Dec. 22

The final grade worksheet will be available for grade submission until noon on Tuesday, Dec. 22. Students will not be able to see their grades online until the grade roll process is completed in the Registrar’s Office. This is done shortly after noon on the day grades are due and nightly thereafter.

Office of Admissions launches new self-guided tour app

Students and staff are invited to download the new self-guided campus tour app. The app can be used both on-campus or remotely from the comfort of home, which is especially important when statewide orders prevent in-person tours from taking place. For visitors who come to campus, the app will connect to GPS and provide turn-by-turn directions for a walking or driving tour. After downloading the app, students will need to create an account (or sign in if they have already used the app) so the app can be used in its entirety. Details can be found at wmich.edu/admissions/visit. Find and download the app by searching “WMU Campus Tour” in the App Store or Google Play.
