Two-day Orientation sessions begin this week

In-person, overnight Orientation sessions began today. Nine sessions will run during June on Mondays/Tuesdays and Thursdays/Fridays. Four one-day Orientation sessions were held in May, orienting 674 honors and transfer students to WMU. Two additional one-day sessions will be held on July 15 and August 12. 

2022-23 Academic Catalogs now available

Proposals approved at the June 23 Board of Trustees meeting will be reflected in the catalog prior to the start of the fall semester.

Updated hours

Bronco Express is open for drop-in assistance on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. to noon. Our staff is also available to assist via email and by phone at (269) 387-6000 on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. to noon. 

Returning students packaged

Returning students who filed a FAFSA have been packaged for the 2022-23 academic year. To view the interactive offer letter, students should be directed to check their WMU email and GoWMU.

Student loan interest rates for 2022-23

Interest rates for direct loans first disbursed between July 1, 2022, and June 30, 2023, have been updated on Student Financial Aid’s website. To view all loan information and updated interest rates, please visit wmich.edu/finaid/loans.

Last day for students to withdraw from SUM I classes is June 6

Students may withdraw via GoWMU until 11:59 p.m. on Monday, June 6. Students with a registration hold who are unable to use GoWMU may request a withdrawal in person through the Registrar's Office until 5 p.m. on June 6 or by emailing the Registrar's Office

2022-23 First-Year Success Guide now available

The guide, created by the Registrar's Office, is intended to serve as a quick reference for advising-related information, as well as provide many helpful tips regarding registration, Degree Works, important dates and University procedures/policies.

Spring 2023 registration schedule now available

Registration for graduate students begins Monday, October 24, at 7:30 a.m. Course offerings open for viewing on Oct. 10.
