Fall midterm grade reporting

Midterm grades were reported in nearly 46% of all gradable sections offered this semester. The College of Arts and Sciences reported grades in 60% of its sections. Great job, CAS! Here is a breakdown of the grade reporting:

Arts and Sciences: 544 of 900 sections (60%)
Aviation: 75 of 177 sections (42%)
Education and Human Development: 178 of 372 sections (48%)
Engineering and Applied Sciences: 64 of 246 sections (26%)
Fine Arts: 145 of 446 sections (33%)
Haworth College of Business: 157 of 357 sections (44%)
Health and Human Services: 122 of 309 sections (40%)
Merze Tate College: 3 of 6 sections (50%)

Total: 1,316 of 2,863 sections (46%)

In fall 2022, midterms were reported in 33% of all gradable sections (924 of 2,770), and in fall 2021, midterms were reported in 49% of all gradable sections (1,376 of 2,809).

Spring registration begins next week

Registration for graduate students begins Monday, Oct. 23, at 7:30 a.m. Spring course offerings can be accessed via goWMU and the WMU Course Offerings page.

Last day to withdraw from fall classes is Oct. 30

Students may withdraw via Course Registration in goWMU until 11:59 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 30. Students with a registration hold may request a withdrawal in person through the Registrar's Office until 5 p.m. on Oct. 30 or by emailing the Registrar's Office.

The Registrar's Office is sending a final reminder to all registered students via email next week.

The Academic Records area of the Registrar's Office completed posting 1,707 AP courses to the academic records of beginning students. This is a completely manual process and the team was able to accomplish it well in advance of spring registration opening.
