Teaching Assistants (TAU)
Teaching Assistants (TAU) at Western Michigan University
About the Teaching Assistants Union (TAU)
The Teaching Assistants Union (TAU) at Western Michigan University serves as the voice of the teaching assistants employed in all departments campus wide. Foremost, TAU bargains for this body's contract that regulates the pay, working conditions, and rights of all teaching assistants. Additionally, TAU stands as a social organization to create solidarity amongst departments, stewards, and members while educating the university and surrounding community regarding union and labor needs.
To learn about current events related to TAU, visit their Teaching Assistants Union at WMU (TAU 1729) Facebook page.
You can also reach them via email at office@tauaft.org.
If you would like to know more about the union contract between TAU and WMU, the current Teaching Assistants Union Agreement is located on the Academic Labor Relations website.
