Paul R. Solomon is an associate professor of art at Western Michigan University's Gwen Frostic School of Art where he is the director and lead teacher of the interdisciplinary program, Director Encounter with the Arts. He is also Adjunct Community Associate Professor, at the Homer Stryker MD School of Medicine’s M edical Ethics, Humanities, and Law Program , where he also teaches. Paul Solomon is an award-winning educator, and founder of the Skilled Observer in Art and Science course of study. He is currently speaking with audiences across the country on topics in the medical humanities. His photographic work has been exhibited in New York and Chicago, and commissioned by clientele including Adobe, Alitalia, American Express, Christie’s Auctions, European Travel and Life, Smithsonian, U.S. Trust & Company, and many others.
