Audio recordings
Our audio collection includes recordings of almost every instrument and type of music as well as educational recordings. Most CDs, LPs and cassettes can be checked out. Some items have restrictions. We also have recordings you can listen to online.
Videos
Our video collection includes everything from live concerts to dance performances to documentaries. Most video cassettes and DVDs can be checked out. Some items have restrictions. We also have videos you can watch online.
Digital collections
WMU Music Performances
This digital collection contains live recordings of concerts and recitals from the WMU School of Music.

WMU Oral Histories
This digital collection includes oral histories by alumni, faculty, staff and friends collected from 1987 to 2003 for the WMU Centennial in 2003.
Audio Visual Room
Waldo Library, Second Floor, Room 2030
The Audio Visual Room holds a majority of our audio recordings and a few videos. Most of our DVDs can be found along the wall outside the door to the room closest to the main entrance of the library.
Within the Audio Visual Room, you can also find a Media Viewing & Listening Room with all the equipment needed to watch the videos and listen to the recordings in our collections.
