Celebrating 20 years of MeLCat, Michigan’s eLibrary

MeLCat, Michigan’s eLibrary catalog, is celebrating its 20th anniversary year. Growing from a network of 12 libraries to over 435 participating libraries is a significant achievement and provides a vital resource for Michigan residents.

Western Michigan University Libraries is a proud MeLCat participant. Since joining in 2006, you have borrowed over 40,600 items from Michigan libraries. In return, we have loaned over 111,000 items to community members across the state who need access to the research collection available at WMU. 

MeLCat expands your access to books, video, audio and other resources and helps our statewide community learn skills, discover knowledge and develop new opportunities.
