Rozlin Opolka is an Instructor of Foundation Art at Western Michigan University's Gwen Frostic School of Art. Rozlin joined the Frostic School of Art in 2021.
Rozlin Opolka is an alumna of Western Michigan University and her primary mediums are painting, sculpture, and bookbinding. During their time at Western Michigan University, Opolka worked in the galleries as a gallery assistant and later special collections manager for the work of John Kollig. Opolka has had instructional positions at fine arts institutions such as Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp where she was visual art faculty for Camp Bernstein, as well as guest teaching opportunities in the central Michigan Area.
Opolka has completed work locally as one of the recipients of the Michigan Youth Leadership Grant where they worked at the Kalamazoo Book Arts Center alongside other Western Michigan University Graduates to create a hand-printed handmade poetry book, Valleyfolk. Opolka has shown in several Michigan venues including the Lansing Art Gallery, Kalamazoo Institute of Art, and online in the 57th Annual MEA/MAEA Art Acquisitions Purchase Exhibition.
