Citation Counts and Journal Impact Factors for Tenure and Promotion

This workshop will:

• Review definitions of different scholarly metrics.
• Present the most important tools for gathering scholarly metrics.
• Emphasize the importance of setting up an ORCID, Google Scholar profile and other similar researcher profiles.
• Discuss other research metrics included as altmetrics. 
• Give examples of why and how to include scholarly metrics in a Tenure and Promotion portfolio.
