"Some Assembly Required: The Artist's Books of Julie Chen" Exhibition

What is a book? The books of Julie Chen, founder of Flying Fish Press and professor of art at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, answer this question in ways that explore the possibilities of what a book can be.

In conjunction with Western Michigan University Libraries' Special Collections and the Kalamazoo Book Arts Center, where additional displays of the work of Julie Chen will be on view, this exhibition highlights handmade artist's books in a variety of formats, all permanently housed at the Zhang Legacy Collections Center at WMU.
