Kalamazoo, Mich.—Calling all Western student artists, writers and researchers! Submit your art and creative and research works to be featured in Waldo Library’s spring exhibit and Story Machine.

The University Libraries is accepting submissions for art and research posters for Waldo Library’s spring 2025 Student Exhibits. Western students from all majors are invited to submit their work for the exhibit by Tuesday, Nov. 26. Learn more and apply online. 

If writing is more your style, submit your short stories, poetry, and creative non-fiction to be published in the Bronco Stories collection in Waldo Library’s Story Machine The Story Machine dispenser uses recyclable, receipt-style paper to print a story on-demand in seconds for campus visitors to enjoy.

Submissions to the Bronco Stories collection are accepted anytime. Entries can be any genre and up to an 8,000-character limit. 

Once your submission is accepted, it will be published on our Story Machine for visitors to Waldo Library to enjoy. They can also be featured on other dispensers around the world. Submit your work online.
