Temporary laptop program ending July 2021

The University Libraries ended laptop checkouts on July 20, 2021. Loaner laptops provided a temporary solution to emergency student needs when the University rapidly transitioned to remote learning due to the pandemic. This program was not intended to continue indefinitely. 

Students returning to campus may continue to access Waldo Library’s public computers as WMU will return to near-normal conditions this fall. We will return laptops to the campus departments that initially supplied them to support this temporary program. The Academic Affairs office will redeploy any remaining laptops to help students with financial needs in the future, but a program is not available at this time.

If you currently have a laptop checked out through this program, contact User Services at (269) 387-5059 regarding your renewal and return options. No renewals will be extended past April 30, 2022.
