Fetty will focus on managing evening services and maintaining Waldo Library’s extensive print collection. Fetty will manage evening services at Waldo Library, overseeing late evening hours until 2 a.m. four days per week. Fetty’s new role will utilize her experience working at academic and public libraries across the state.
“I've always had a book in my hand since I first learned to read, so I knew I wanted to work in the vicinity of stories,” says Fetty. “When I worked as a student circulation assistant at Northern Michigan University, I found the perfect marriage between my personal skills and working with books and the people who love them.”
“While I have supervised before, this will be my first time working with college students while I am not also one myself. I'm enjoying learning their personalities and the unique points of view they have to offer,” says Fetty.
In addition to overseeing services and working with students, Fetty will manage Waldo’s extensive print collection, maintaining and improving access to millions of physical items.
“I'm looking forward to seeing Waldo Library grow alongside the students it serves and being a part of that growth.”
