OIT Help Desk to return to UCC in January

The Office of Information Technology’s Help Desk in Swain Library will return to its permanent home in the University Computing Center in January. Walk-in tech support will be available in Swain through Jan. 10. Call (269) 387-4357 for phone support.

Swain Library is available to Western Michigan University students for open study. It is part of University Libraries and supports student collaboration, learning and academic success. Find your favorite spot and get to work!

We have three open study rooms at Swain Library that are available on a first-come, first-served basis. These study rooms feature tables, chairs and a whiteboard. 

There are no public computers or printers in Swain Library. However, Waldo Library is a short walk from Sangren Hall and has 100+ computers and several print release stations.

Parking

Student, faculty and staff parking

WMU students, faculty and staff must adhere to University Parking Regulations when visiting Swain Library. Parking permits are enforced from 2 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and on Fridays from 2 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Accessible parking

There are accessible spaces available in Lot 41, on the north side of Sangren Hall. 

Visitor parking

Guest visitors may park in metered spaces in Lot 41, on the north side of Sangren Hall. Payment at a meter can be made with U.S. quarters or through the ParkMobile app

Guest permits are also available. You can purchase a guest permit online or at the Parking Services office.
