University Libraries has started a gradual process of reopening. Waldo Library’s first-floor lobby is now open for limited services to WMU users. All other areas within Waldo Library and all branch libraries remain closed at this time.
Swain Education Library supports the programs within the College of Education and Human Development at Western Michigan University. Located on the second floor of Sangren Hall, it is home to books, reserves, periodicals and reference materials. Our curriculum enrichment collection includes children’s fiction, non-fiction, poetry and picture books. We also have an extensive K-12 student and teacher edition textbook collection.
Our library staff is ready to assist you with our collections, spaces, technology or whatever you need. If you have a question, just ask us! Need help with a research project or assignment? Contact one of our subject librarians.
The Education Library offers computing and printing services too. This includes 22 computer workstations and two printers/scanners that print both black and white and color. We also have a computer classroom with 36 computers that may be available when not in use as a classroom.
