Students and instructors will have improved access to the library through Elearning this spring. WMUx will add a new Library Resources tab to the top navigation in Elearning, making it easier for students to access library resources and get research help in their courses.
Students can access course guides, databases, librarian appointments, and live chat through the new tab.
WMUx will streamline other Elearning menus and widgets, so you may notice other changes, too.
- Courses with a library resources module will continue to have it, but the module won’t be available in the default course template.
- Links to connect with a librarian and view the University Libraries' website will be moved to the support widget on the Elearning homepage with other University resources.
- The Library Microcourse will be available in My Courses.
- Instructors can connect their library course reserves to Elearning by adding an External Learning Tool.
