Dr. Michael Rice, Superintendent of the Kalamazoo Public Schools (KPS), was selected by the Michigan Association of School Administrators (MASA) to receive the 2016 Michigan Superintendent of the Year's Award. Theannouncement was made by Mr. Chris Wigent, Executive Director of MASA at last night's KPS School Board meeting. The faculty and staff of the College of Education and Human Development at Western Michigan University congratulate Dr. Rice for receiving such a great honor.
