U.S. News and World Report Ranking

The U.S. News & World Report’s 2015 ranking of Graduate Schools of Education placed Western Michigan University’s College of Education and Human Development 112th, moving up 19 spots from last year's ranking. The same ranking put the college in 87th place among all public institutions in the nation.
The ranking system carefully calculates the top graduate education programs at 356 schools granting doctoral and master’s degrees in the following categories:
- Faculty resources
- Quality assessment
- Research activity
- Student selectivity
