Student Recreation Center's 30th anniversary Celebration

Join the staff of University Recreation to celebrate the Student Recreation Center's 30^th anniversary on Wednesday, August 28 from 10 a.m. To 7 p.m. The Student Recreation Center opened in August 1994 as the new dedicated hub for recreation on campus.

 

From 11:30 a.m. To 1:30 p.m., we will be hosting an employee open house for all WMU faculty and staff. Holtyn & Associates will be here to provide information on their services and upcoming programming options. We will also have our membership team available to provide tours and activate SRC memberships. There will be no charge for faculty and staff to use the SRC that day or attend any of our fitness classes that are offered. 

 

From 4 to 7 p.m., we will be hosting a programming open house that will highlight some of our great programs including Esports, Intramural Sports, Club Sports and fitness. Open pickleball will be available during this time, as well as some instructional time for how to play pickleball. 

 

Anyone who uses the SRC on Aug. 28 will be entered into our prize drawings. If you participate in any of our programs, you will receive additional entries into our drawings and also be entered to win a free 30th anniversary shirt!
