Initial Flight Training Requirements & Applications

Students must apply for the semester they desire to start flight training at WMU. Flight course capacities vary by semester and there is no guarantee that all students can be accepted for the desired semester. Decisions on acceptance are typically complete within about 3 weeks after the application deadline has past and students are notified of their status via email. All applications received by the posted deadline are weighted equally, there is no preference given for early submission. Applications submitted after the posted deadline are evaluated on a first come first serve basis if space is available.
