About Us

ALPA ACE

The Airline Pilots Association is the largest pilot union in the world. As a student chapter, we host biweekly meetings where we bring in different pilots employed by airlines that ALPA serves. Our speakers touch on topics that range from what a pilot schedule looks like to cargo vs commercial to how the union has helped them in their careers at airlines to how to have maintain a family while being a pilot. Each semester we go on a couple of tours to different hubs. We have gone to Delta's Hub in Detroit, United's Hub in Chicago, Kalitta's Operation in Ypsilanti and many more. Our mission and goals are to help students who are starting off in their career understand the importance of a union and how to choose to work for a company that appeals to your needs.
