Sending Transcripts

It is essential students send all transcripts from community colleges, four year institutions, dual enrollment or any course taken for college credit. Not submitting all transfer courses may result in taking unnecessary coursework. Advisors can only update degree works based on official transcripts being processed by admissions which can take several weeks from the time a transcript is sent.

  • Students will need to submit official transcripts from each college or institution they took courses from.
  • Students will need to send updated transcripts if additional courses are taken.
  • If you are having difficulty figuring out how to transfer a course, contact the institution or google "request transcript" and the name of the institution you are searching for generally brings up the link you will need.
  • Send transcripts electronically by email from the issuing institution to @email or by mail to Office of Admissions, Western Michigan University, 1903 W Michigan Ave, Kalamazoo, MI 49008-5211.
