Distance Education Software Access
With the University delivering instruction through distance education, special accommodations are being made so students can access software from their own computers. Below is a list of software that has been made available for students to install on their own personal machines along with a list of software for which we are still working to secure student access:
Cisco Webex is available to all students, faculty and staff.
The Cisco Webex suite provides; web conferencing, personal meeting rooms, screen sharing, interactive training environments, large-scale online events, and integration with W-Exchange email. Please follow this link to obtain additional information.
We have streamlined the process for submitting work orders for IT problems and services. All you need to do is simply send an email to:
avs-itdirect@wmich.edu
The subject line of the email will be the subject of the work order. The body of the email will be the description of the problem.
That's it, everything else will be automatic. Please direct questions to Jake Zoch – jake.zoch@wmich.edu
