Pursue a B.S. in Aviation Professional Studies
Pursuing a degree in aviation professional studies at WMU is specifically tailored for individuals looking to validate their prior industry experience, such as military aviation training, existing FAA certifications, or technical workforce experience. This allows students to transform their experience into a versatile, four-year bachelor’s degree.
What you'll learn
This curriculum is designed to allow the completion of a Bachelor of Science degree online or in person. This will be accomplished by students completing WMU WES requirements, the core selection of 30 credit hours from the college of aviation major courses, the completion of 30 credit hours of aviation cognate courses, the articulation of prior experience and learning (PLA), transfer credits from accredited universities, and the completion of required elective credit hours for the required 122 undergraduate credit hours. This program is only available to students who can transfer in or receive PLA credits equal to or greater than 30 credit hours. Students must still comply with all WMU transfer credit policies.
