As a member of the LeighFisher Airport Operational Readiness & Transition (ORAT) team, position will provide expertise in logistics, planning, developing, coordination, and scheduling of operational readiness activities associated with new airport and airline Terminal and other facility development projects. 

Essential Job Duties

•Participate in and support planning, ramp up and execution of the various elements of Airport and Airline Operational Readiness Programs. 

•Assist with the collection of data for Operational Concepts development for new and redeveloped facilities.

•Assist with the development of Stakeholder Engagement and Operational Interface Plans

•Assist with the coordination and development of Familiarization, Induction and Training Plans

•Assist with collection of information for ORAT schedule development 

•Assist Mobilization and Move Teams with the implementation of transition Plans

•Establish and maintain strategic relationships with representatives of key stakeholders including Airline and Airport management, vendors, sub-concessionaires, consumer groups and the airport business community to ensure stakeholders are engaged in the ORAT program. 

•Develop and maintain ORAT SharePoint tools. 

•Assist with management of ORAT programs through the use of reporting tools, such as SharePoint, Risk Registers; Issue Logs, Dashboards, Prolog, Primavera, Microsoft Office, etc.

•Present regular update reports on ORAT activities.  

•Review Project schedules, testing and close out plans for development of detailed turnover plans including duties & responsibilities of all parties. 

•Hold and/or attend regularly scheduled Project meetings.

•Effectively manage the work flow processes and ensure timely completions 

•Assist with Project Closeouts

Professional Experience Level/Other Qualifications
•Experience on Airport Operational Readiness teams on new terminal facilities at large domestic or international airports, and/or, Airport Operations teams.
•Knowledge of industry practices for airport/airline systems and operations.
•Possess technical skills in project management, aviation operations, documentation, communications, and/or operational or technology testing.
•Effective Stakeholder management capability is required.
•Good written and oral communications skills.
•High energy and driven in style. 
•Not afraid to get his or her hands dirty and do “real work”; has a strong spirit of ownership and working within a less-structured environment. 
•Results Driven
•Proven ability to multi-task. 
•A team player 
•Excellent communication skills; strong writing and oral presentation abilities. 
•Hardware/Software Knowledge Word, Excel, Prolog, SharePoint, Outlook, Office 365
 
Education: 
•An undergraduate degree from a well-respected school, ideally in Engineering, Airport or Operations Management, Planning, Business, or relevant field.
