Internship: Masco Flight Operations
Posted by Reina Cooke on March 25, 2019Have you considered a career in Business Aviation? Here is your chance to spend 12 weeks with a Fortune 400 corporate flight department based at DTW airport. Masco is offering a paid internship position for a selected individual who wishes to further their knowledge of this exciting career path.
Immerse yourself in the culture and teamwork of Masco as you witness the inner workings of our flight department in several functional areas including flight operations, maintenance and department administration. Spend quality time networking with, interviewing and job shadowing key personnel. Gain additional perspective and insight as you work on various projects and complete daily tasks related to the operation of the department. Additionally, you will be given the opportunity to ride along in the flight deck “jump-seat”, which will provide you with a first-hand look at many aspects of business aviation.
Requirements:
❖ Minimum GPA of 3.0
❖ Junior or Senior status enrolled in Aviation Flight Science or Aviation Management & Operations
❖ Provide an essay describing your goals and why you believe this opportunity would be mutually beneficial to you and Masco
❖ Provide one (or more) current letter(s) of recommendation from a faculty member or administrator of the College of Aviation
