Clark County Department of Aviation in Las Vegas, Nevada is seeking energetic and dedicated students to fill summer Airport Management Internship positions.  McCarran International Airport is a global leader in Airport Operations, Facilities and Security.  Clark County, Nevada owns McCarran International Airport and four general aviation facilities.  McCarran International Airport has a unique opportunity to provide our travelers with that all-important first and last impression of Las Vegas and last year we welcomed more than 50 million arriving and departing passengers.  McCarran is a dynamic and exciting place to work, with a mission to provide excellence in customer service with great employees. 

Our Interns will work primarily in our Airside Operations Division, which includes Administration, Ramp Control, Airfield Maintenance and Operations. Interns will have the opportunity to work on complex aviation projects. Interns will also get exposure at our General Aviation Airports and with all of our operating divisions to gain unparalleled industry knowledge.  Additionally, Clark County Department of Aviation prioritizes professional development and ensures that our interns get the training they need to excel in their future careers.  

  • Position Benefits:
    • $11 Hourly – Freshman
    • $13 Hourly – Sophomore
    • $15 Hourly – Junior
    • $16 Hourly – Senior 
    • Fully paid boarding provided on the campus of UNLV
      • Includes housing & parking
  • Airport is close to UNLV campus
  • 40 hours per week
  • Student Requirements
    • Full Time student in an Aviation program
    • GPA of 3.0 or higher
