Job Summary

Reclaim Company, LLC has expanded its products and services into nine states. You are responsible to transport our key members to its operational areas and ensure the aircraft plus weather conditions are airworthy to transport safely. You are responsible for training employees on safety and for compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR), Aeronautical Information Manual (AIM), General Operations Manual guidelines (GOM), and thorough knowledge of Reclaim Company policies and procedures.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities Include The Following

  • Transport members and staff via air or ground
  • Operates Reclaim Company aircraft in a safe and legal manner
  • Completes pre-flight before every flight verifying the aircraft is in an airworthy condition by sign off of Daily Flight Log. Pilots will perform a complete walk around of the aircraft prior to entering the cockpit for flight and upon completion of each flight.
  • Final authority with regard to operations of aircraft and for the safety of passengers, cargo and equipment
  • Must be thoroughly familiar with all aircraft and systems of backup aircraft utilized at operational area and also ensures that flight team is familiar and comfortable with the interior and systems in case of emergencies
  • Responsible for completion of required documentation
  • Able to conduct detailed flight planning with little notice to exacting standard
  • Regulatory maintenance of aircraft and sign off sheet of regulatory maintenance at a certified shop

Although, your main job duties will consist of operating an aircraft, keeping up on policies, procedures, and the safety of yourself and others; you will also have a great opportunity to learn a different focus of our business. The aircraft you’ll be flying is to be used as a tool for the business and necessity to save time traveling place to place. Working directly with the members of the company will give you the opportunity to learn the following:

  • Property Purchases that include research deeds and deeds of trust

  • How demo politics are involved at state level

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Read, speak, and understand English
  • Hold a commercial or ATP certificate
  • Hold at least a current third-class FAA medical certificate
  • Achieve a score of 70% or better on the FAA Flight Instructor knowledge test
  • Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school and two to five years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

Skills

  • Maintains positive interpersonal relationships with colleagues and strives to maintain a friendly and professional working environment
  • Microsoft office knowledge
  • Be willing to learn our accounting software and data entry

Visual Flight Rules (VFR) Program

  • 250 total flight hours with minimum
  • 100 hours of cross-country flight time, at least 10 hours of which were at night
  • 10 hours unaided night as PIC (50 hours of unaided can be substituted for by 100 hours of NVG time, but cannot be reduced below 50 hours of unaided time)
  • 10 hours total actual or hood instrument time in flight and in category (simulator time does not count) (for a RW candidate who is FW rated, 100 hours or greater of FW actual or hood Instrument time can reduce the RW required instrument time to 25 hours).

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • Commercial & Instrument Rating (for category and class of aircraft)
  • ATP rating in category meets this requirement
