Corporate Aviation Student Development Program - Proctor and Gamble Application

PILOT & MAINTENANCE CORPORATE AVIATION SDP:

OVERVIEW:

This program is a one week educational “hands-on” seminar which is designed to provide an accurate and comprehensive insight into the operation and management of a corporate aviation department. Selected students will spend one week in August at Procter & Gamble’s Global Flight Operations (GFO) in Cincinnati, Ohio. Students will spend the first 3½ days of the program at the hangar meeting with managers and key personnel of different departments to gain an understanding into the management and operation of a large corporate flight department. Two days will be spent with aircraft orientation, aspects of flight planning, line maintenance, and participating in flight observation rides on scheduled trips. Activities and presentations are designed to provide a detailed look into the management of a corporate operation, the duties & responsibilities of a corporate pilot or maintenance technician, and the lifestyle considerations of a career in corporate aviation.

TERM:

One week: Saturday thru Friday, August 5 – 11, 2023

LOCATION:
  • P&G Global Flight Operations: Lunken Airport, Cincinnati, Ohio.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree program in an aviation related field (pilot or maintenance curriculum preferred).
  • Minimum sophomore status in program, returning in fall semester.
  • Working toward FAA pilot and/or maintenance certification.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Demonstrate an interest in Corporate Aviation as a career option.
  • Be willing to share your experiences and provide feedback to students and faculty upon return from the program.
EXPENSES:
  • Travel expenses to/from Cincinnati will be paid by P&G. The Program Coordinator will arrange travel plans with each student following selection to the program.
  • All expenses associated with the Program will be paid by P&G.
