2019-2020 Julie Grant Academic Scholarship

Student loan debt is a problem that has only continued increasing over the years. While society continues to value continuing education, the costs associated with higher education has become a challenge.  Julie Queler founded the Julie Queler Grant as a response.

The Julie Queler Grant aims to help students by providing a $1000 scholarship to one student per academic year to assist with the costs of attending a college or university.

Eligibility: Students who fall into one of the following categories can apply for this $1000 scholarship. 

• High school senior that has been accepted into a college or university
• Current full-time student at a college or university.

Guidelines: Julie Queler wants to hear your response to the following question in the form of a 500-word essay:

• “How have you used technology, and/or social media platforms, to seek help or guidance from others?”

Deadline: August 1, 2020

Winner Selection: A winner will be selected the first week of August 2020 and contacted. Once the winner has verified their information, Julie Queler will submit the $1000 scholarship directly to their school’s financial aid department.
