Women's Aviation Career Symposium
Posted by Reina Cooke on October 21, 2019WACS will award one $1000 scholarship to a female who is pursuing aviation or aeronautical education or training. This award will be paid directly to the school, training course or institution and must be used within one year. Candidates will be evaluated on their achievements, leadership, motivation and goals, and community involvement in aviation.
Applicants must submit a 500-word essay which addresses their aviation career aspirations and how this scholarship will help them achieve their dreams. In addition, the essay should explain the training or education to which this scholarship will go towards.
Applicant must also submit one (1) letter of recommendation and a resume. Scholarship is open to high school juniors and up.
Applications are due by December 20, 2019. Winner will be notified in January and must be present at the event.
WACS 2020 will be held on January 25, 2020.
