Town hall information

The Teacher Education Town Hall is an opportunity to learn about changes to teacher education at the state and at WMU. Please save the date and plan to attend our Teacher Education Town Hall. This town hall is open to all individuals who prepare our candidates for work in PK-12 school settings.

All documents will be shared electronically; paper copies will not be available. Please register so that we can provide access to the One Drive folder.

Location: 1920 Sangren Hall

September 20th is also the day of our campus convocation - so please join us for cookies and fruit and great conversation. This year will be an exciting and busy time for us.

  • New MDE Grade Bands
  • Michigan Core Practices
  • New Elementary Education Programs - In Development
  • New Secondary Programs - Starting Summer 2020
  • Data Day - October 11
