    The Department of Human Performance and Health Education (HPHE) houses the undergraduate majors in exercise science, physical and health education, recreation management and sport management, as well as a variety of graduate programs. As a student in HPHE, your professor offices are located here as well as on the first floor near the labs, providing quick and easy access near your classrooms. WMU professors are required to hold office hours outside of class time each week, and they enjoy getting to know and help their students.

    The Department of Human Performance and Health Education labs contain specialty equipment for exercise conditioning, testing and recovery. The exercise physiology lab contains equipment for testing a variety of physiological responses. Students learn through hands-on experience while utilizing equipment and materials they will find in their field and future careers.

    The Department of Human Performance and Health Education labs contain specialty equipment for use by its students. The biomechanics lab contains equipment for motion capture, measurement and analysis. Students learn through hands-on experience while utilizing skills learned in their classes.

    The Department of Human Performance and Health Education labs contain specialty equipment for exercise conditioning, testing and recovery. Equipment in the athletic training lab helps our students learn skills in injury treatment and prevention, such as taping and bracing as well as injury rehabilitation.
