Pickleball Tournament

University Recreation is excited to offer our first community indoor pickleball tournament on Saturday, April 12 at Western Michigan University's Student Recreation Center. The tournament is designed for 3.0 - 3.5 skill level players .

Divisions & Schedule

  • 8 a.m. - Men's doubles
  • 10:30 a.m. - Mixed doubles (men & women)
  • 1 p.m. - Women's doubles

Tournament Format
Teams will be divided into two pools of seven teams each. All teams in the pool will play each other one time. Games will be 10 minutes in length, or the first team to 11 points. Following pool play, teams will be seeded and placed into a single-elimination bracket. For bracket play, it will be first to 11 points, win by two and cap of 13. There is no time limit on the bracket-play games.

Registration deadline is Wednesday, April 9.
