Hours: Monday – Friday, 7am – 4pm (cst)
Job Description
Excel-Air Services, Inc. is seeking a full-time aviation maintenance technician with an A&P mechanic license. The successful candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent. This technician will perform annual inspections & repair work of small aircraft such as Grumman, Cessna, Piper, and light twin engine aircraft. Excel-Air Services is known for its expertise in Grummans. The candidate must be able to trouble-shoot, diagnose electrical/hydraulic issues, have a strong orientation for detail & accuracy, have excellent communication skills (written & verbal), able to work alongside customers, and able to work effectively under pressure & deadlines.
Other duties
- Major and minor repairs of sheet metal/structural repair work.
- Light weight involvement with avionics installs and modifications.
- Major and minor repairs to reciprocating aircraft engines.
- Performance of installations of supplemental type certificate kits/modifications.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Education/Experience Requirements
- A&P Mechanic License
- High School Diploma or equivalent
