Meal Plan Payment Options

Credit card payments

Students and staff can charge their Dining Dollars or Commuter Meal Plan purchases directly to a credit card using the WMU Dining Services online payment system without incurring a service fee. The Dining Services system will accept Visa, MasterCard or Discover credit cards.

WMU student accounts

Dining Dollars purchases can be applied to a WMU student account. When applied to a student account, WMU will accept payments by electronic checking or savings on the web. Credit and debit card payments applied to a student account can only be made online, and are subject to a convenience fee.

WMU uses a third party credit card processor, Touchnet, to process credit and debit card payments. Touchnet accepts American Express, Discover, MasterCard and debit cards. A convenience fee of 2.75% or $3, whichever is larger is charged by Touchnet to process the transaction. Credit card payments on student accounts can only be made online. Touchnet does not accept Visa for credit or debit card payments. Please review the WMU Accounts Receivable web site for payment questions.

Cash or check purchases

To set up a Dining Dollars account or add additional money to your account, please come to the Dining Services Office in room 161 of the Bernhard Center.
