Meet Bria: Fashion merchandising

The reason why I chose to go to WMU was because it's in my hometown and I saw that they had a fashion program which was what I really wanted to do.

My favorite thing that I've done so far is all like the visual stuff. I'm taking the visual merchandising course right now and it's very hands-on which I like to do and I learn better that way.

The faculty in the program that I've had so far, have been very helpful and nice. When you're in the fashion program you kind of get the same teachers like throughout the years in all the classes you take. Every time I've had any questions they're quick to respond and they'll just help you kind of guide you through the course to be better.

After I graduate I do really want to start my own small business. I do a lot of handwriting, knitting with needles and crocheting clothes so I really wanna get that started up.
