I am the administrative assistant and building coordinator for Family and Consumer Sciences within the College of Education and Human Development here at Western Michigan University. Engaging with the faculty and students is the best part about this role. The environment is so educational and everyone is so supportive, it makes the work that much more rewarding.
Being an employee and a student, WMU is my favorite go-to spot in Kalamazoo!
On campus, my favorite place is my office. I am able to enjoy the beautiful views from the windows and as an added bonus, I have the pleasure of listening to my vinyl records while working!
If I could choose a super power to have, I think I would want a photographic memory. It would help me with all the little post-its, notes, voice memos and lists I make… and leave everywhere!
