1:00 p.m. – (Optional) Full Campus Tour

If you would like to take a full campus tour, you can sign up for that here. This is a separate event from your MODA Backstage Pass Experience. Walking shoes are recommended.

3:30 p.m. – Tour of the Fashion Labs

Park at Sangren Hall Lot 41 and meet in the lobby

4:30 p.m. - Travel to Delta Hotels Kalamazoo Conference Center

Travel on your own to 2747 S 11th St, Kalamazoo, MI 49009

5 p.m. – Backstage MODA Experience

Delta Hotels Kalamazoo Conference Center, meet in event center lobby

5:30 p.m. – Dinner by Flight Restaurant and Lounge

What is MODA?

Merchandising Opportunities and Design Association, or MODA, is the registered student organization at WMU representing fashion majors and minors. Joining this organization offers opportunities to network and develop leadership and teamwork skills. Members produce several fashion shows each year and participate in community service activities.

What is MODA's Pursuit of Happiness?

MODA's annual Spring Fashion show, themed ‘Pursuit of Happiness’, is extremely personal. The runway looks will be bright, unique, and full of wonder. The show will encourage the audience to ask the question, “What makes me happy?”

Is transportation provided?

You are responsible for transportation to WMU’s Main Campus (Lot 41) and to the Delta Hotels Kalamazoo Conference Center. If you need assistance with transportation between WMU and the conference center, please reach out to @email and we will do our best to support you.

What should I wear to the fashion show?

We encourage you to embrace the occasion by dressing to the theme, as our fashion-forward community loves to make a statement with their attire. While there isn't a specific dress code, we believe that dressing your best adds to the overall experience and festive atmosphere of the event.

Walking shoes are recommended for the (optional add-on) campus tour and tour of the fashion labs.

Can I bring a guest?

You may bring one guest who is invited to all festivities. Their dinner and fashion show ticket is included in the experience. Guest information must be included when you RSVP.
