Residence Life works with select outside vendors to provide additional services for Western Michigan University students. These vendors rent or sell common items students have in their rooms.
Bed Bath and Beyond
Bed Bath and Beyond will have a pop-up shop located by Valley I during Fall Welcome move-in. It will be a great way to grab those last-minute items without needing to leave campus. The tent will be open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 29 and 30.
If you’re thinking of carpet, here’s a way to make it worry-free. Order one from On Campus Marketing by Aug. 11, and it will be in your room ready to unroll when you move in. Five different colors and a variety of sizes tailored to our residence hall are available. Prices vary by size. To order or for more details, visit www.rhcarpets.com/WMU
Instead of trying to pack a futon, you can order your futon online. Order by Aug. 10 and it will be waiting in your room when you arrive. The frame and six-inch pad are $249.99 plus tax, and the futon fits under both WMU loftable furniture and Bedloft rented lofts. Just check with your roommate so you don’t end up with two!
You’ll need twin extra-long linens for WMU’s beds. Shop around and compare prices, or take advantage of the variety of packages or individual items available at Residence Hall Linens. Order deadline is Aug. 4.
Students starting WMU for Summer II may rent a Microfridge for summer through spring semester for one rate. Contact Bedloft with questions.
