Vendors 2025-26

Housing and Residence Life works with select outside vendors to provide additional services for Western Michigan University students. These vendors rent or sell common items students have in their rooms.

Order by August 10 for in-room delivery service prior to move-in.

EcoMax

An EcoMax is a combination microwave, freezer and refrigerator.

Students starting WMU for summer II may rent an EcoMax for summer through spring semester for one rate. Contact MyCollegeFridge through email at support@bedloft.com.

Fall/spring orders: A practical all-in-one - combination microwave, fridge, and freezer. EcoMaxes are $169.99 plus deposit for the academic year.

Futon

Instead of trying to pack a futon, you can order your futon online. The frame and six-inch pad are $274.99 plus tax, and the futon fits under all WMU loftable furniture. Just check with your roommate so you don’t end up with two!

Rug

Purchase a 9x12-foot rug perfectly sized for WMU residence halls. Choose from one of three colors sure to go with any room decor - beige, grey or navy. Cost is $199.99 and rugs will be delivered to your room prior to move-in. All you have to do is open the box and unroll it!
