Jessica has been teaching at WMU in the College of Aviation since 2017. Her primary area of expertise is Airport Operations and Management. She spent over 13 years working in different areas of airport operations at Denver International Airport (DEN) and Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW). Experience includes Part 139, TSR 1542, emergency management, wildlife, snow and ice control, security and compliance, project management, budget, contract compliance, training, and administrative functions. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Aviation Administration from WMU and a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from Central Michigan University.
She is here to support students on their journey into the aviation industry. Her teaching philosophy is centered around practical knowledge and application in the aviation industry. Jessica is the faculty advisor for the WMU Student Chapter of the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE).
