With a career spanning higher education, commercial aircraft maintenance, and industrial maintenance management, Mr. Geoffrey Lindenberg has built deep expertise in aircraft systems, turbine engines, and maintenance operations. As a Master Faculty Specialist at Western Michigan University’s College of Aviation, he combines hands-on industry knowledge with a passion for teaching, developing innovative curriculum, enhancing laboratory resources, and mentoring the next generation of aviation professionals. Before moving into academia, Mr. Lindenberg built his career through hands-on and leadership roles in the commercial aviation and heavy manufacturing industries. At Eaton Corporation, he worked as a Maintenance and Reliability Manager, leading a team of industrial maintenance professionals and overseeing major capital projects. Prior to that he was with SkyWest Airlines as an Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor and OJT Trainer, where he played a key role in the launch of a new aircraft maintenance facility, trained aircraft maintenance technicians, and ensured regulatory compliance. His professional journey began at Mesaba Airlines (now Endeavor) as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician, where he gained practical, frontline experience with aircraft service and safety—experience that continues to shape his teaching, mentorship, and contributions to the aviation community today.
