Tom McLaughlin

Tom McLaughlin graduated from Western Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation Sciences. Tom continued his education whilst employed with WMU and earned a Master of Arts degree in Career and Technical Education. He started his aviation career in the US Navy as a Crew Chief/Rescue Swimmer aboard Sikorsky H-3s. The primary flight mission included performing mountain and sea rescues. Tom has served WMU in a variety of capacities including Flight Instructor, Program Coordinator, International Flight Instructor, Program Manager and his present position of Chief Instructor and Director of Flight Operations.
