Brad Olson started his aviation career by joining the U.S. Army in 1986 and serving four years as a Crew Chief on Blackhawk helicopters. After military service, he attended Southwestern Michigan College where he earned an associate degree in aviation applied science and his A& P certificate. His work history as a mechanic includes fifteen years at Duncan Aviation in Battle Creek, five years in remote Alaska as a pilot/mechanic and six years at SMAT in Ionia, MI as an AMT instructor. He now holds IA privileges and is a commercially rated pilot for ASEL. In his spare time, you can find him actively serving in his church, and spending time with his family outside camping, boating, snow skiing, riding dirt bikes or fixing up old Ford trucks.
