Demonstration Flight
The College of Aviation offers demonstration flights for prospective students. This experience is a definitive way to solidify interest in an aviation career and helps to demonstrate the complexity and sophistication of the flight program at Western Michigan University. Demonstration flights are offered for the discounted rate of $150. This rate is only good for prospective aviation students interested in attending Western Michigan University.
Students will get to experience flight in one of WMU's Cirrus-SR20, equipped with the Avidyne R9. A certified flight instructor will allow the student to take the controls and fly the aircraft. This is a fantastic way to have your first experience with flight at WMU!
Demonstration flights are still on hold due to capacity issues. We hope to resume these as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience.
For more information regarding demonstration flights, please contact our Aviation Ambassadors at avs-info@wmich.edu or (269) 964-6375. For the best customer experience, we ask that you schedule at least one week in advance.
